Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar (15ml)
- 2 teaspoons unsalted butter (10ml)
- 1 teaspoon honey (5ml)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (15ml)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (15ml)
- 1 tablespoon reduced sodium soy sauce (15ml)
- ½ teaspoon salt (2.5ml)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25ml)
- 1 salmon filet, skin on or off, about 2 ½ pounds (approximately 1.1kg)
Instructions:
- Combine brown sugar, butter, and honey in a small saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat.
- Whisk in olive oil, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Let the glaze cool for 5 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a large baking pan with aluminum foil.
- Place the salmon filet in the prepared baking pan.
- Pour or brush the honey-mustard glaze evenly over the salmon filet.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
