Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lb halibut or cod fillets
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the fish fillets completely dry with paper towels to prevent steaming.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, oregano, and paprika until fully emulsified.
  4. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season both sides lightly with sea salt and cracked black pepper.
  5. Generously brush the alkaline marinade over the top and sides of each fillet.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the meat flakes easily with a fork.
