Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb halibut or cod fillets
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the fish fillets completely dry with paper towels to prevent steaming.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, oregano, and paprika until fully emulsified.
- Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season both sides lightly with sea salt and cracked black pepper.
- Generously brush the alkaline marinade over the top and sides of each fillet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the meat flakes easily with a fork.
