Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) paprika
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  2. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Stir in Old Bay seasoning, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Incorporate freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir well to combine.
  5. Taste the sauce and add salt as needed, then add chopped parsley for freshness.
  6. Remove from heat and serve warm with your favorite seafood boil components or as a dipping sauce.
