Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2-3 limes)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon honey (or agave syrup)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 lb large prawns, peeled and deveined
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until smooth.
- Add the cleaned prawns to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove prawns from marinade and discard remaining marinade.
- Cook the prawns in the hot pan for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque. For grilling, thread the prawns onto skewers.
- Transfer the cooked prawns to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges. Serve immediately.
