  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Whisk the marinade until well combined.
  3. Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Cover the shrimp and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Skewer shrimp if desired for easier grilling.
  7. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque, and slightly charred.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.
