Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) sea salt
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) water
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) unflavored gelatin (optional)
- Additional sea salt for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, combine water and gelatin. Let it bloom for 5 minutes. Heat gently until gelatin is fully dissolved. Let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, pour in the heavy whipping cream. Using a handheld mixer, beat the cream on medium speed until it starts to thicken.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and sea salt while mixing. If using, slowly pour in the dissolved gelatin while continuing to whip.
- Increase mixer speed to high and whip until stiff peaks form. The foam should be light and fluffy.
- Transfer the foam to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Spoon or pipe the foam onto your dish of choice and sprinkle with additional sea salt if desired.
