Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 2 large Shallots, finely minced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, smashed and minced
  • 0.5 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 0.5 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 10 oz Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque
  • 1 lb Long Pasta such as Linguine or Spaghetti
  • 0.5 cup Dry White Wine
  • 0.5 cup Reserved Pasta Water
  • 0.25 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 0.25 cup Freshly grated Parmesan
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil a large pot of heavily salted water. Add pasta and cook for 2 minutes less than the package instructions (al dente). Before draining, reserve 1 cup of starchy pasta water.
  2. While pasta boils, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Pat shrimp dry and sear for 90 seconds per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and sauté shallots until translucent. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Let the wine reduce by half.
  5. Stir in the Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque and the lemon juice. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add the cooked pasta, seared shrimp, and 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water to the skillet. Toss vigorously over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until the sauce emulsifies and coats the noodles.
  7. Garnish with lemon zest, fresh parsley, and grated Parmesan before serving.
