Ingredients:
- 1 lb Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 2 large Shallots, finely minced
- 4 cloves Garlic, smashed and minced
- 0.5 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 0.5 lemon, zested and juiced
- 10 oz Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque
- 1 lb Long Pasta such as Linguine or Spaghetti
- 0.5 cup Dry White Wine
- 0.5 cup Reserved Pasta Water
- 0.25 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 0.25 cup Freshly grated Parmesan
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Boil a large pot of heavily salted water. Add pasta and cook for 2 minutes less than the package instructions (al dente). Before draining, reserve 1 cup of starchy pasta water.
- While pasta boils, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Pat shrimp dry and sear for 90 seconds per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and sauté shallots until translucent. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Let the wine reduce by half.
- Stir in the Trader Joe’s Lobster Bisque and the lemon juice. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta, seared shrimp, and 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water to the skillet. Toss vigorously over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until the sauce emulsifies and coats the noodles.
- Garnish with lemon zest, fresh parsley, and grated Parmesan before serving.
