  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 8 cups water

  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (for dipping sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (for dipping sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (for dipping sauce)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Clean and cut crab legs into sections. Devein shrimp and slice sausage; cut corn in half and halve the potatoes.
  2. Boil Water: In a large stock pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Add garlic, Old Bay seasoning, and salt. Stir to dissolve.
  3. Cook Vegetables: Add potatoes to the boiling water; cook for 10 minutes until just tender. Add corn and sausage; cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add Seafood: Carefully add king crab legs to the pot, followed by the shrimp. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  5. Taste and Adjust: Adjust seasoning if needed; squeeze fresh lemon juice into the pot.
  6. Serve: Drain the seafood boil using a slotted spoon and transfer to a large serving bowl. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
  7. Prepare Dipping Sauce: Mix melted butter, lemon juice, and hot sauce in a small bowl.
