Ingredients:

  • 1 pound frozen shrimp, deveined and shell-on
  • 1 pound frozen mussels
  • 1 pound frozen baby octopus
  • 4 medium red potatoes, quartered
  • 2 ears of corn, cut into thirds
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Wash and quarter the potatoes. Trim and cut the corn.
  2. Place potatoes in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes (optional, helps to remove excess starch).
  3. Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Add potatoes and corn, cooking for about 10-12 minutes or until barely tender.
  4. Carefully add frozen shrimp, mussels, and octopus into the boiling pot. Stir gently to combine, cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes or until seafood is cooked through and mussels are open.
  5. Add Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, cayenne, and butter into the pot. Stir until thoroughly mixed, for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Drain seafood and vegetables, then transfer to a large serving platter. Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley if using.
