Ingredients:
- 1 can (5 oz / 140 g) of tuna in water, drained
- 1 ripe avocado, halved and pitted
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
- Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tablespoons / 30 ml)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh coriander (cilantro), chopped (to taste)
- Red onion, finely chopped (optional)
- Cherry tomatoes, halved (for serving)
Instructions:
- Drain the tuna and place it in a mixing bowl.
- Halve and pit the avocado. Scoop the flesh into the bowl with the tuna.
- Using a fork or potato masher, mash the tuna and avocado together until well combined but still slightly chunky.
- Stir in Greek yogurt or mayonnaise, lime juice, Dijon mustard, and season with salt and pepper.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed; add more lime juice or salt if desired.
- Top with fresh coriander, red onion, and serve with cherry tomatoes on the side.
