Ingredients:
- 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
- 3 tbsp red onion, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Instructions:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Carefully drop in the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until they turn opaque and form a 'C' shape.
- Immediately drain the shrimp in a colander and run under cold water to stop the cooking process. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large mixing bowl, use a whisk to combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, Worcestershire sauce, and Old Bay until the mixture is smooth.
- Add the diced celery, red onion, parsley, and dill to the dressing and stir.
- Gently fold the chilled, dried shrimp into the dressing until evenly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to bond and the dressing to set before serving.
