Ingredients:

  • 2 (5-ounce) cans tuna, drained well
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Drain the tuna thoroughly. Chop the celery, red onion, and hard-boiled egg (if using).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  3. Gently fold in the drained tuna, chopped celery, red onion, sweet pickle relish, and hard-boiled egg (if using).
  4. Season with black pepper and salt, to taste.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. This step is optional but highly recommended.
  6. Serve on your favorite bread, crackers, or lettuce cups. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley (if using).
