Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds (680g) cooked lobster meat, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) finely chopped celery (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 4 New England-style top-split hot dog buns
  • 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, gently combine the cooked lobster meat, lemon juice, mayonnaise, celery (if using), chives/scallions, black pepper, and salt. Taste and adjust seasonings. Cover and chill for 15 minutes.
  2. Brush the outside of each hot dog bun with melted butter.
  3. Toast the buns in a toaster or skillet until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Divide the chilled lobster mixture evenly among the toasted buns. Serve immediately for delicious lobster roll recipes.
