Ingredients:
- 1 pound (454g) cooked lobster meat, roughly chopped (fresh or frozen, thawed)
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 4 New England-style top-split hot dog buns (or brioche buns), lightly toasted if desired
- 1/4 cup (30g) finely chopped celery (optional, for crunch)
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Pinch of sea salt (to taste)
- Optional Garnish: Fresh chives or parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Gently melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat or in a microwave-safe bowl in short bursts. Don’t let it brown!
- In a large bowl, gently toss the cooked lobster meat with the melted butter, chopped celery (if using), lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Be careful not to overmix; you want to keep the lobster chunks intact.
- Divide the lobster mixture evenly among the toasted (or untoasted) hot dog buns.
- Garnish with fresh chives or parsley (if using) and serve immediately. A little extra drizzle of melted butter never hurt anyone!
