Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skinless (170 g)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed (50 g)
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard (45 g)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, and minced garlic until smooth.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure each fillet is coated evenly. Let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or grill to medium heat.
  4. Place marinated salmon fillets in the baking dish (or directly on the grill) and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven/grill, let rest for a minute, then serve hot, drizzled with extra marinade if desired.
