Ingredients:
- 4 (4-6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together orange marmalade, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Brush the salmon evenly with half of the orange glaze.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the salmon from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze. You can optionally broil for the last 1-2 minutes (watching very carefully – don’t let it burn!), to caramelize the glaze even further.
- Serve immediately and enjoy this Orange Glazed Salmon!
