Ingredients:

  • 4 (4-6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together orange marmalade, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Brush the salmon evenly with half of the orange glaze.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  5. Remove the salmon from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze. You can optionally broil for the last 1-2 minutes (watching very carefully – don’t let it burn!), to caramelize the glaze even further.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy this Orange Glazed Salmon!
