Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs (900g) Snow Crab Legs, thawed if frozen
  • 1/2 cup (115g) Unsalted Butter, softened (or vegan butter alternative)
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Thaw crab legs completely if frozen. Rinse briefly under cold water.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute). Remove from heat and stir in parsley, lemon juice, oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  3. Fill a large pot with about 2 inches of water and bring to a boil. Place crab legs in a steamer basket or colander. Cover and steam for 5-10 minutes, or until heated through.
  4. Arrange the steamed crab legs on a platter. Drizzle with garlic-herb butter. Serve with lemon wedges and nutcrackers or kitchen shears.
