Ingredients:
- 4 (6-ounce) sea bass fillets, skinless and boneless
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 scallions, sliced thinly (white and green parts separated)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and white parts of sliced scallions. Set aside.
- Place sea bass fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Fill a large pot or wok with water (about 1-2 inches) and bring it to a boil. Place the steamer basket over the pot
- Place marinated sea bass fillets in the steamer basket. Cover with a lid and steam for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Carefully remove the fish from the steamer and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with green parts of scallions and fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
