Ingredients:
- 12 oz canned tuna (drained)
- 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime juice, and garlic powder until smooth. Set aside in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to meld.
- Drain the tuna thoroughly, pressing it against the lid of the can to remove all excess liquid. In a large bowl, flake the tuna with a fork.
- Stir in the egg, panko, green onions, ginger, Sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Form the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties (about 1 inch thick).
- Carefully place the patties in the pan. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side without moving them, until they develop a deep mahogany-colored crust. Flip once and cook until the edges are crisp and the center is heated through.
