Ingredients:

  • 4 center-cut salmon fillets (approx. 6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp Sriracha or Sambal Oelek
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey or Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp Neutral oil (Avocado or Grapeseed)
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 Scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1 Fresh lime, cut into wedges

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure the glaze adheres and the skin crisps. Season lightly with 1/2 tsp sea salt and 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper.
  2. In a small glass mixing bowl, whisk together the Sriracha, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic until the honey is fully incorporated and the sauce is thick.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet or in an air fryer basket. Brush a generous layer of the fire-glaze over the top and sides of each fillet.
  4. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 6 minutes until the glaze starts to bubble and darken. Brush the remaining sauce over the fillets. Continue cooking for another 4 minutes.
  5. Remove salmon from heat when the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Let the fish rest for 3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions. Serve with fresh lime wedges.
