Ingredients:
- 4 center-cut salmon fillets (approx. 6 oz each)
- 3 tbsp Sriracha or Sambal Oelek
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey or Maple syrup
- 1 tsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, finely minced
- 1 tbsp Neutral oil (Avocado or Grapeseed)
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- 1/4 tsp Cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp Toasted sesame seeds
- 2 Scallions, thinly sliced
- 1 Fresh lime, cut into wedges
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure the glaze adheres and the skin crisps. Season lightly with 1/2 tsp sea salt and 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper.
- In a small glass mixing bowl, whisk together the Sriracha, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic until the honey is fully incorporated and the sauce is thick.
- Place salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet or in an air fryer basket. Brush a generous layer of the fire-glaze over the top and sides of each fillet.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 6 minutes until the glaze starts to bubble and darken. Brush the remaining sauce over the fillets. Continue cooking for another 4 minutes.
- Remove salmon from heat when the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Let the fish rest for 3 minutes.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced scallions. Serve with fresh lime wedges.
