Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, lime zest, orange zest, garlic, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade. Toss to ensure all shrimp are coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill (or grill pan) over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread shrimp onto skewers, being careful not to overcrowd them.
  5. Place shrimp on the grill. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are opaque and slightly charred.
  6. Remove shrimp from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
