Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves (15g) garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp (2g) smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 2 lbs (900g) Snow Crab or Grilled Dungeness crab legs (thawed)
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges for serving
  • 2 tbsp (30g) fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Pat the thawed crab legs completely dry using paper towels.
  2. Place crab legs on a baking sheet and brush generously with half of the spiced butter mixture, allowing them to sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat the outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Place crab legs directly over the heat and grill for 3–5 minutes per side until a mahogany-colored char develops.
  5. During the final 2 minutes of grilling, brush the remaining spiced butter over the legs for a glossy finish.
  6. Remove from the grill immediately once the meat is warmed through and serve with lemon wedges and chopped parsley.
