Ingredients:

  • 2 Basa fillets (approximately 6 oz/170g each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, dill, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Whisk to combine.
  3. Place Basa fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon the lemon-herb mixture evenly over each fillet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  5. Serve immediately. Garnish with an extra squeeze of lemon, if desired.
