Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1/2 cup chicken bone broth
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp fresh lemon zest
Instructions:
- Pour the chicken bone broth into the bottom of the Ninja Speedi pot. Place the Cook & Crisp tray in the elevated position by pulling out the legs.
- In a medium bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil until evenly coated.
- Arrange the beans on the tray in an even layer. Close the lid and flip the SmartSwitch to Rapid Cooker mode.
- Select Steam & Crisp, set the temperature to 390°F (200°C), and set the timer to 7 minutes.
- When the timer reaches 2 minutes remaining, open the lid and add the unsalted butter, sliced garlic, and red pepper flakes directly onto the beans.
- Close the lid and allow the cycle to finish for the remaining 120 seconds to mellow the garlic.
- Transfer the beans to a serving platter and finish by sprinkling with sea salt and fresh lemon zest.
