Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) extra virgin olive oil
- ½ teaspoon (3g) kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon (0.5g) freshly ground black pepper
- Optional: 1 clove garlic, minced
- Optional: 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and trim the woody ends of the asparagus.
- In a bowl, toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic (if using). Ensure asparagus is evenly coated.
- Spread asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until tender-crisp and lightly browned.
- Drizzle with lemon juice before serving (optional).
