Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz / 170g) tilapia fillets
- ½ tsp (3g) salt
- ¼ tsp (1g) black pepper
- 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
- 4 tbsp (57g) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (1g) fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line your baking dish with parchment paper or grease it with olive oil.
- Rinse the tilapia fillets under cool water and pat them completely dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.
- Place the fillets side-by-side in a single layer in the dish.
- Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet, ensuring every inch is coated.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Finish by sprinkling fresh parsley over the top.
