Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170g) tilapia fillets
  • ½ tsp (3g) salt
  • ¼ tsp (1g) black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
  • 4 tbsp (57g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp (1g) fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line your baking dish with parchment paper or grease it with olive oil.
  2. Rinse the tilapia fillets under cool water and pat them completely dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Place the fillets side-by-side in a single layer in the dish.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet, ensuring every inch is coated.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Finish by sprinkling fresh parsley over the top.
