Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sea moss gel (prepared from 1 cup dried sea moss)
  • 1 cup fruit juice (such as orange, apple, or your favorite juice)
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder (or agar-agar for a vegan option)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric or cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse 1 cup dried sea moss to remove debris, then soak in water for 12-24 hours, drain, and blend with fresh water until smooth.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sea moss gel, fruit juice, honey (or maple syrup), and optional add-ins, and whisk until well combined.
  3. In a small pot, add 2-3 tablespoons of water and sprinkle gelatin (or agar-agar) over it. Let it sit for a minute to bloom. Gently heat over low heat, stirring until fully dissolved.
  4. Slowly mix the dissolved gelatin into the sea moss mixture until fully integrated.
  5. Using a spoon or dropper, fill silicone gummy molds with the mixture.
  6. Refrigerate for around 30 minutes, or until set.
  7. Carefully pop gummies out of the molds and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
