Ingredients:
- 1 cup sea moss gel (prepared from 1 cup dried sea moss)
- 1 cup fruit juice (such as orange, apple, or your favorite juice)
- 2-3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons gelatin powder (or agar-agar for a vegan option)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric or cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
- Rinse 1 cup dried sea moss to remove debris, then soak in water for 12-24 hours, drain, and blend with fresh water until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sea moss gel, fruit juice, honey (or maple syrup), and optional add-ins, and whisk until well combined.
- In a small pot, add 2-3 tablespoons of water and sprinkle gelatin (or agar-agar) over it. Let it sit for a minute to bloom. Gently heat over low heat, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Slowly mix the dissolved gelatin into the sea moss mixture until fully integrated.
- Using a spoon or dropper, fill silicone gummy molds with the mixture.
- Refrigerate for around 30 minutes, or until set.
- Carefully pop gummies out of the molds and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
