Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)
- Lemon wedges (optional)
- Fresh baguette or crusty bread for dipping (optional)
Instructions:
- Rinse and pat dry the shrimp. In a bowl, combine shrimp with Old Bay seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.
- Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and olive oil; allow butter to melt and foam.
- Add seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they start to turn pink.
- Flip shrimp; cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully cooked (opaque and firm). Drizzle with lemon juice during the last minute of cooking.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges and bread.
