Ingredients:

  • 4 (6-ounce) Salmon Fillets, center-cut, skin-on
  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 0.5 tsp Sea Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2 cloves Garlic, grated
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 Lemon, thinly sliced into rounds

Instructions:

  1. Remove salmon fillets from the refrigerator 15 minutes prior to cooking to temper. Pat each fillet thoroughly dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear and prevent steaming.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, grated garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and chopped dill until well combined.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season evenly with sea salt and black pepper.
  5. Brush the herb and butter mixture generously over the top and sides of each fillet. Top each fillet with lemon slices.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges of the salmon are opaque and the center flakes easily.
