Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
- 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 lemon, sliced into rounds
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Use paper towels to pat the salmon fillets completely dry on all sides to ensure the glaze adheres.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and dried parsley until well-emulsified.
- Place the fillets on the baking sheet, leaving 1 inch of space between each piece. Spoon the butter mixture evenly over the top and sides of each fillet.
- Place one lemon slice on top of each fillet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque pink and edges are slightly golden (internal temperature of 135°F).
- Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
