Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 lemon, sliced into rounds
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Use paper towels to pat the salmon fillets completely dry on all sides to ensure the glaze adheres.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and dried parsley until well-emulsified.
  4. Place the fillets on the baking sheet, leaving 1 inch of space between each piece. Spoon the butter mixture evenly over the top and sides of each fillet.
  5. Place one lemon slice on top of each fillet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque pink and edges are slightly golden (internal temperature of 135°F).
  6. Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
