Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground pork
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) sriracha (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, grated
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, finely chopped (any color)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 8 large lettuce leaves (such as romaine or butter lettuce) or 8 small tortillas
- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish (optional)
- Lime wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Chop vegetables (onion, bell pepper, green onions) and mince garlic and ginger.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic, ginger, and onions; sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add ground pork, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha, and bell pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until all ingredients are combined and heated through.
- Lay out lettuce leaves or tortillas. Spoon the pork mixture onto each wrap, sprinkle with green onions and cilantro.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over wraps.
