Ingredients:
- 2 lbs (approx. 900g) Crab Legs (Snow crab, King crab, or Dungeness crab, depending on preference and availability), pre-cooked and frozen
- 1 cup (240ml) Water
- 1 Lemon, quartered
- Optional: 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning or similar seafood seasoning
- 1/2 cup (115g/4oz) Unsalted Butter, cubed
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
- Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Add water to the stockpot. Arrange lemon wedges in the bottom of the steamer basket or insert. Sprinkle with Old Bay (if using).
- Place the crab legs in the steamer basket. Cover and steam over medium-high heat until heated through.
- While the crab legs are steaming, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, being careful not to brown the garlic.
- Stir in parsley, lemon juice, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Arrange crab legs on a platter. Serve hot with the garlic butter sauce for dipping.
