Ingredients:

  • 4 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs, chopped (parsley, dill, or thyme), or 1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the marinade evenly over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  5. Serve immediately with lemon wedges, if desired.
