Ingredients:
- 4 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs, chopped (parsley, dill, or thyme), or 1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the marinade evenly over the top of each fillet.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges, if desired.
