Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp thoroughly with paper towels to remove excess moisture, ensuring a crispy crust.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil until evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne over the shrimp and toss again until fully enveloped in the seasoning.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not touch to allow proper airflow.
  6. Cook for 3 minutes, flip the shrimp using tongs, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove immediately once the shrimp are opaque pink and have a slight char on the edges.
