Ingredients:
- 2 whole sea bass (cleaned and scaled)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 red chili, sliced (or a bell pepper for less heat)
- 4 green onions, chopped
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
- Juice of 1 lime (or lemon juice)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the sea bass under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lime juice.
- Place the cleaned sea bass on a large piece of aluminum foil or in a baking dish.
- Pour the marinade over the fish and sprinkle with sliced chili and chopped green onions.
- Wrap the fish in foil if using or cover it with another layer of foil if using a baking dish to create steam while cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
