Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450 g) lump crab meat, picked over for shells
- 1/2 cup (60 g) fresh breadcrumbs (or panko)
- 1/4 cup (60 g) mayonnaise
- 1 large (50 g) egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp (5 g) Old Bay seasoning (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1 g) black pepper
- 2 tbsp (30 g) chopped fresh parsley (or cilantro)
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, parsley, and lemon juice.
- Gently fold in the crab meat and breadcrumbs until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 8 patties, about 2 inches wide.
- Place the patties on a lined baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with olive oil for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
