Ingredients:
- 6 (6 oz) tilapia fillets
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 lemon (half sliced into rounds, half juiced)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the tilapia fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a golden exterior.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Brush the oil mixture generously over both sides of each fillet until evenly coated.
- Place fillets on the tray and top each with a fresh lemon slice.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, or the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
