Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) tilapia fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 large lemon
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure the fillets don't adhere to the pan.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Brush the aromatic oil mixture evenly over the top of each tilapia fillet.
  4. Place the fillets on the prepared sheet and top each with a lemon slice.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes. The fish is done when the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
