Ingredients:
- 4 Basa fillets (approx. 6 oz/170g each), thawed if frozen
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1.25ml)
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Place Basa fillets in the baking dish.
- Pour the lemon-herb mixture evenly over the fish fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Serve immediately.
