Ingredients:
- Salmon Fillets (approx. 6 oz / 170g each)
- ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted
- cloves Fresh Garlic, minced very finely
- tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- tablespoons Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
- teaspoon Lemon Zest
- ¼ teaspoon Dried Oregano (Optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels. Season evenly on all sides with salt and pepper. Place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, and optional oregano. Whisk well until combined.
- Spoon or brush approximately two-thirds of the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top surface of each salmon fillet. Reserve the remaining butter mixture.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. The fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature reaches 145°F/63°C).
- Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven. Drizzle the remaining reserved garlic butter mixture over the hot fillets immediately before serving. Garnish with extra fresh parsley if desired.
