Ingredients:

  • 6 (6 oz / 170g) tilapia fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Use paper towels to pat every tilapia fillet completely dry on both sides to ensure a proper sear.
  2. Lightly dust each dried fillet with salt.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning, and minced garlic until evenly combined.
  4. Generously brush the lemon pepper butter mixture over the top and edges of each fillet.
  5. Cook using preferred method: Bake at 400°F (200°C) on a lined baking sheet for 12–15 minutes, or air fry at 400°F (200°C) until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
