Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) tilapia fillets, thawed and patted dry
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, sliced into rounds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the patted-dry tilapia fillets on the baking sheet so they are not touching, then season both sides evenly with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, and paprika until the sauce is cohesive.
  4. Drizzle the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet and place one lemon slice on top of each piece of fish.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish immediately with fresh chopped parsley.
