Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz / 170g) tilapia fillets
- 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
- 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper
- 3 tbsp (43g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp (30ml) fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
- 1 tsp (2g) dried oregano
- 1 tsp (2g) dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp (1g) paprika
- 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Pat the tilapia fillets completely dry with paper towels, place them in the baking dish, and lightly brush with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, and paprika until well-emulsified.
- Spoon the butter mixture generously over each fillet and top each piece of fish with a lemon slice.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily from the thickest part of the fillet.
