Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) Tilapia fillets (about 4 fillets), skinless
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Lemon zest, finely grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (8g) Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon (8g) Fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) Dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5g) Salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5g) Black pepper, freshly ground, or to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (optional).
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the tilapia fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the marinade evenly over both sides of the fish.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the tilapia is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  6. Garnish with lemon wedges (optional) and serve immediately.
