Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz or 170 g) cod fillets, skinless and boneless
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced (for garnish)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) black pepper
- 1 teaspoon (2 g) paprika
- 2 tablespoons (5 g) fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
- 1 tablespoon (5 g) fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, parsley, and dill.
- Place the cod fillets in a baking dish. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring it's coated evenly. Top with lemon slices for extra flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from the oven and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
