Ingredients:

  • 4 Tilapia fillets (approx. 1.25 lbs / 570g)
  • ½ tsp (3g) Salt
  • ¼ tsp (1g) Black pepper
  • ½ tsp (2g) Smoked paprika
  • 4 tbsp (57g) Unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves (15g) Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (2g) Lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp (4g) Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Pat each tilapia fillet completely dry using paper towels. Season both sides evenly with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest until cohesive.
  3. Place the fillets in an oven-safe skillet or on a baking sheet and pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Broil for the final 2 minutes until the butter is bubbling and brown for an extra golden finish.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the fillets immediately before serving.
