Ingredients:
- 4 Tilapia fillets (approx. 6 oz each), thawed
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 0.5 tsp Sea salt
- 0.25 tsp Cracked black pepper
- 3 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 large Lemon, zested and juiced
- 0.5 tsp Paprika
- 0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 Lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Pat each tilapia fillet thoroughly dry on both sides using paper towels to ensure a firm texture. Place fillets on the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between them.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, and red pepper flakes until the mixture slightly thickens.
- Season the fillets evenly with sea salt and cracked black pepper. Spoon the garlic-butter emulsion generously over each fillet and top each with a lemon slice.
- Bake in the center rack for 10–12 minutes until the fish is opaque throughout and the edges are golden. The fish should reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley before serving.
