Ingredients:

  • 4 Tilapia fillets (approx. 6 oz each), thawed
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp Sea salt
  • 0.25 tsp Cracked black pepper
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Lemon, zested and juiced
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 Lemon, thinly sliced into rounds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Pat each tilapia fillet thoroughly dry on both sides using paper towels to ensure a firm texture. Place fillets on the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between them.
  3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, and red pepper flakes until the mixture slightly thickens.
  4. Season the fillets evenly with sea salt and cracked black pepper. Spoon the garlic-butter emulsion generously over each fillet and top each with a lemon slice.
  5. Bake in the center rack for 10–12 minutes until the fish is opaque throughout and the edges are golden. The fish should reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley before serving.
