Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound (225 grams) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound (225 grams) sea scallops
  • 1/2 pound (225 grams) firm white fish (like cod or halibut), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 grams) smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 grams) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 gram) black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons / 30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 grams) fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon (15 grams) fresh basil, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and pat dry shrimp, scallops, and fish. Season all seafood pieces with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and scallops to the pan. Sauté for 3-4 minutes or until shrimp turns pink and scallops are golden brown.
  5. Add white fish and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until fish is opaque.
  6. Squeeze in lemon juice and stir in fresh herbs. Cook for 1 minute to combine flavors.
  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and garnish with additional herbs.
