Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (120 g) mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) honey
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) lime juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 pound (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, Sriracha, rice vinegar, lime juice, and salt. Whisk until smooth and well blended. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and olive oil until evenly coated.
  3. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Drain using a slotted spoon and immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking.
  4. Drain the shrimp and pat dry. Arrange the shrimp on a serving platter and drizzle generously with Bang Bang Sauce. Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions.
