Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds (900g) frozen or thawed crab legs (snow crab, king crab, or Dungeness)
  • 1 cup (240ml) water
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) dry white wine (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Place the trivet in the bottom of the Instant Pot.
  2. Pour the water and white wine (if using) into the Instant Pot.
  3. Add the Old Bay seasoning and minced garlic to the liquid.
  4. Place the crab legs on top of the trivet, arranging them in a single layer if possible.
  5. Secure the lid, making sure the pressure valve is set to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 5-8 minutes, depending on the size of the crab legs.
  6. Quick release the pressure carefully.
  7. Using tongs, carefully remove the crab legs from the Instant Pot. Serve immediately with melted butter and lemon wedges.
